Your youth group sounds great. I especially liked some of the things you wrote on the youth page. Our youth group does things like you - hikes, pizza night. We also have a short Bible study as part of our meetings. A couple of weeks ago we decided to have a Bring a Friend night. I was talking to two friends about youth group when two members saw us in the lunch room. I waived to them, called them over and told them I was telling my friends about youth group. To my surprise they began complaining about the Bible study and said there were better things to do on a Friday night. They never complained when they came which was almost every Friday night.
I am discouraged as I thought these two were believing Christians. They really made fun of our group and my friends, of course, decided not to come. Did this ever happen in your group? I want to hear from kids not youth leaders. I am fifteen years old and am wondering if I should be looking elsewhere for friends I can count on. Did something like this ever happen to you? What did you do?
